Description
The Plymouth-Canton Community Schools are seeking bids for a new grand piano to support the high school choral rehearsals, performances, and instruction. The piano must exhibit superior tonal quality, responsive touch, and durable craftsmanship suitable for institutional use. The bid must include delivery, assembly, and tuning of the piano, as well as a warranty of at least 10 years. The school district reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to award the contract to the vendor that best meets their needs.
• The piano must be new, but vendors may submit a voluntary alternate bid for a gently-used piano that meets the school district's specifications.
• The bid must include the price of the piano, delivery, assembly, and tuning, as well as any accessories or services included in the bid.
• The vendor must provide a warranty of at least 10 years, and must assign any manufacturer's warranties to the school district.
• The vendor must provide references, particularly from educational or institutional clients.
• The bid must include a detailed list of any exceptions to the RFB, or other special considerations or conditions of the vendor.
