Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to replace the boiler in Building 6 at the Loch Raven VAMC. The contractor will be responsible for removing the existing boiler, disposing of it properly, and installing a new CSD-1 compliant boiler. The work must be completed within 30 calendar days from the notice to proceed. The contractor must also provide a warranty and start-up services for the new boiler.
• Remove and dispose of the existing Weil McClain Water Tube Boiler (209MBH)
• Provide disposal receipts to the VA
• Install a new CSD-1 compliant boiler sized to match the existing boiler
• Utilize existing utility lines for tie-ins where possible, except for the vent line, which must be replaced with a new PVC vent line
