Description
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is inviting statements of interest (SOIs) from transit agencies, associations, vendors, manufacturers, and technology companies to exhibit innovative, hands‑on transit solutions at the Transit Innovation Showcase, a one‑day event to be held at DOT Headquarters in Washington, D.C. in December 2026. Selected exhibitors will demonstrate technologies that improve safety, security, cleanliness, accessibility, real‑time data, and reliability, with a focus on family‑friendly and “buzz‑worthy” solutions. Participants must cover all costs associated with design, fabrication, transport, installation, operation, and breakdown of their displays; no federal funds are provided. The selection process is informal and based on alignment with event themes, interactivity, uniqueness, and potential for nationwide adoption.
