Description
The New York City Department of Transportation is seeking input from fleets, property owners, EV‑charging equipment providers, and other stakeholders about a proposed Electric Vehicle Charging Incentive (EVCI) Program. The program will allocate up to $7 million (funded by the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority) to support the installation of electric‑truck charging infrastructure in three Bronx mitigation communities, complementing the NYC Clean Trucks Program. The RFI gathers data on interest, capability, barriers, and preferred partnership models to shape the final incentive design.
• Target participants: medium‑ and heavy‑duty electric‑truck operators, owners of facilities that could host chargers, EVSE manufacturers/installers, and related community experts.
