K9 DOG FOOD AND SUPPLIES

The County of Ocean is soliciting vendors to supply a comprehensive catalog of K9 dog food, treats, feeding accessories, collars, leashes, training equipment, and related supplies for its law‑enforcement and animal‑control divisions. The contract is a one‑year agreement (with statutory extension rights) and will be awarded on a line‑item basis; multiple vendors may win individual items, including a special discount‑percentage item for unlisted products. Vendors must submit detailed unit‑price sheets, meet Buy‑American food content requirements, carry specified insurance, and provide numerous certifications (non‑collusion, ownership, foreign‑investment disclosures, etc.) before award. All deliveries are FOB destination and the County may adjust order quantities up to +20 % of listed maximums. • Provide a full range of dry, prescription, and specialty K9 foods (e.g., Hill’s, Royal Canin, Science Diet). • Supply treats, chew toys, bowls, storage containers, collars, leashes, muzzles, e‑collars, harnesses, training aids, and other accessories. • Offer a percentage discount on any unlisted K9 food or supply items (Item #167) for vendors that win other line items. • Comply with Buy‑American agricultural content rules, maintain Workers’ Compensation, CGL ($500k/$1M), and Auto ($1M) insurance, and submit all required certifications before award.
