Armored Car Services RFP

The City of Pontiac is seeking a qualified armored car service provider for the secure transport and deposit of municipal funds. The selected supplier will be responsible for providing professional, insured, and certified transportation of deposits according to an established schedule, while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and industry security standards. The scope of services includes armored car services, cash recycling, and other related tasks. The contract term will be for three years with an option to renew for two one-year periods. • The City requires the selected supplier to provide secure pickup and delivery of cash and checks from specified City locations. • The supplier must maintain chain-of-custody documentation and provide immediate receipts for each service call. • The supplier must comply with Michigan licensing and banking regulations, as well as industry safety standards. • The supplier must provide proof of insurance, bonding, and certifications. • The supplier must have experience providing armored car services for municipal or public-sector clients.
