Request for Proposals for Switch Equipment - Erate YR 2026 (YR29)

The Twin Rivers Unified School District is soliciting bids for Switch Equipment supporting a contract for Switch Equipment which is Erate eligible. The District is seeking qualified vendors to submit bids that include detailed billing and hardware, shipping, and taxes. The successful vendor will be chosen based on best value, with evaluation criteria including cost, experience, company size and stability, client references, and quote preparation. The contract will be a fixed-price contract, and the vendor will be required to provide a current certificate of insurance evidencing professional general liability insurance coverage. • The Switch Equipment includes various Aruba products, such as the Aruba 6300L 48p Smart Rate Switch and the Aruba 10G SFP+ Fiber Transceiver. • The vendor must label all equipment as Erate with an identifying Funding Request number and determine Erate eligibility percentage. • The vendor must provide a valid SPIN (Service Provider Identification Number) and comply with all current and future requirements issued by the SLD. • The contract will commence on April 1, 2026, and the vendor must deliver the equipment before billing can commence. • The vendor must comply with the FCC rules for Lowest Corresponding Price and provide substantiating documentation to support this assertion if requested.
