CSU Grounds Maintenance (Outlying Areas)

Columbus State University is seeking a single‑vendor, in‑house provider to perform comprehensive grounds‑maintenance services for its outlying campuses (Zones 3, 4, 5). The contractor will be responsible for routine mowing, edging, shrub and tree care, debris removal, pine‑straw installation, irrigation tuning and repairs, seasonal color planting, fertilizer and pesticide applications, and related site‑specific tasks, while maintaining a local service team capable of responding within 24 hours to service calls. No subcontracting is permitted; the contract runs for one fiscal year with up to four optional one‑year renewals. Key requirements include a Georgia pesticide license, acceptance of State’s standard contract terms, provision of insurance, and compliance with E‑Verify and other statutory certifications. • Full‑service landscaping & grounds upkeep for Main Campus, Carson‑McCullers House, G.P.S.T.C., and RiverPark Campus. • Mandatory weekly, seasonal, and event‑driven service frequencies (e.g., weekly mowing, bi‑annual pine‑straw, four fertilizer applications). • Immediate response capability (within 24 hours) and same‑day emergency service for requests received by 1 PM.
