Description
The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Highways Division, is seeking bids for the seismic retrofit of the McCully separation bridge on Interstate Route H-1. The scope of work includes adding shear studs, longitudinal girder retainers, transverse shear key, replacing steel roller bearings, strengthening pier caps, extending seat length, column jacketing, and other related improvements. The estimated cost of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
• The project requires a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering "A" license prior to the award of contract.
• A virtual pre-bid conference is scheduled for April 17, 2026.
• Bidders must submit their complete proposal through HIePRO prior to the offer due date and time.
• The contract is subject to contract compliance tracking, and the prime contractor and all subcontractors are required to report payments electronically.
