Description
The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking to lease one electric powered Low Pressure Air Compressor (LPAC) with a minimum allowable flow rate of 400 SCFM. The compressor must be designed to deliver 100% oil-free air and have a maximum system pressure of 125 PSIG. The rental period is for 6 weeks, with an option to extend for an additional 2 weeks. The compressor will be used to establish a Tool Air system at the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton CT.
• The compressor must be a fully packaged air-cooled unit with intercooler/after cooler to maintain a package maximum discharge compressed air temperature of 100F.
• The compressor must be enclosed in a weatherproof enclosure suitable for outdoor operation with an ambient operating temperature range of -10°F to 110°F.
• The compressor must be UL listed and have a remote emergency stop switch.
• The vendor shall provide all necessary interconnecting hose, elbows, and hardware.
• The vendor shall provide equipment start-up and commissioning services.
• The vendor shall provide training sessions to Shipyard Personnel on the operation and setup of all equipment.
