Description
The Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) is seeking a vendor to provide supplemental, 24‑hour/7‑day‑week certified nursing assistant (CNA) staffing for three state‑run facilities in Tuscaloosa. The contract is for a 24‑month base period with up to three one‑year extensions, and the vendor must be able to supply personnel on a 2‑hour notice basis, cover all shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays), and meet extensive background‑check, insurance, and E‑Verify requirements. Bids must be submitted in hard‑copy (original + two copies) by the deadline, and the lowest responsible bidder will be awarded the contract.
• Provide CNA‑level staff on a per‑diem, same‑day or scheduled 8‑hour shift basis, minimum 4‑hour assignments.
• Must replace any “no‑show” staff within 2 hours; all costs (travel, overtime, per‑diem) must be embedded in a single hourly rate.
• Contractor must hold $1 M per occurrence/$3 M aggregate liability insurance, bonding, active VSS subscription, and E‑Verify MOU, and cannot subcontract without ADMH approval.
