Description
The Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking a contractor to supply and install a double wall fire-protected aboveground storage tank. The tank shall have a capacity of 6,000 gallons and shall be compatible with a wide range of fuels and chemicals. The contractor shall also provide a crane to offload the tank from the delivery truck and install a 20' x 24' slab with bollards for tank installation. The contractor shall include all required electrical piping and provide a 2-product remote fill box with all necessary piping.
• The tank shall have steel outer walls to provide low cost maintenance and protection.
• The primary storage tank and secondary containment shall be compatible with a wide range of fuels and chemicals.
• The tank shall have thermal insulation material that exceeds the UL 2-hour fire test.
• The contractor shall provide a single remote dispenser with a flow control valve and hose hanger.
• The contractor shall include an ultimate automatic tank gauging system.
