Description
The Kodiak Island Borough is seeking bids for the replacement of the Mill Bay Beach stairs and picnic tables. The project includes the removal of the existing stair structure and installation of a new stair system, as well as the installation of up to three picnic tables. The work must be substantially complete by May 15, 2025, and final completion achieved by May 30, 2025. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on October 20, 2025. The bid package includes the base bid for the stair removal and replacement, as well as an alternate bid for the picnic table installation.
• The base bid covers the removal of the existing stair structure and installation of a new stair system, including all labor, materials, and related costs.
• Alternate Bid #1 includes the installation of up to three Borough-provided picnic tables per manufacturer’s specifications.
• The project requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, borough, and other local regulations, codes, and laws.
• The bidder must submit a bid bond, certified check, cashier check, or money order in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid.
• The Borough reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids, to cancel the procurement, to waive irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding, to postpone the bid opening, and to give particular attention to the qualifications of the Bidder.
