A-Dock Replacement and D-Dock Decking Replacement Key West Bight Marina

The City of Key West seeks qualified marine contractors to replace the existing A‑Dock timber structure and to replace the decking on D‑Dock at the Key West Bight Marina. The A‑Dock overhaul includes removal of all existing components (piles, caps, cross‑bracing, stringers, decking) and installation of new piles, pile caps, structural framing, decking, electrical, potable water, sewer pump‑out and fire‑protection systems, plus all accessories. D‑Dock decking will be removed and rebuilt with IPE hardwood decking, using 316 stainless‑steel hardware and fasteners. The contractor must supply all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and incidentals, and must comply with construction documents prepared by Tetra Tech and existing FDEP/USACE permits (USACE SAJ‑2021‑00839). • Full demolition and reconstruction of A‑Dock (piles, caps, bracing, stringers, decking). • Installation of new utilities (electrical, water, sewer, fire‑protection) and dock accessories. • Replacement of D‑Dock composite decking with IPE hardwood, using 316 stainless‑steel hardware. • All work performed under strict compliance with Tetra Tech design documents and USACE/FDEP permits.
