Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support is seeking proposals for a full-line of produce support for DoD (Troop) customers and Non-DoD (USDA School) customers located in the San Antonio, Texas Zone. The contract will be for an indefinite quantity, with a guaranteed minimum of 10% of the first year, and will have a total length of 5 years, including all tiers. The contractor will be required to source, purchase, store, and deliver a variety of fresh fruit and vegetable items to DLA Troop Support customers on an ongoing basis. Key requirements include:
* Possession of a current Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA) License
* Submission of a valid USDA Harmonized Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Plus+ Standard audit, with warehouse and food defense addenda
* Provision of pricing for all items in the Schedule of Items
* Ability to maintain acceptable fill rates, levels of customer service, and product quality
* Compliance with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process
