Description
The City of Waycross, Georgia is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide demolition services for blighted residential and commercial properties within the City limits. The scope of work includes site inspection, utility disconnections, asbestos inspection and abatement, complete demolition of structures, removal of debris, and backfilling and seeding of disturbed areas. The contract term is one year with the option to renew annually for up to four additional years.
• The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and disposal necessary to complete demolition services.
• The contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• The contractor shall procure and maintain minimum insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, and umbrella/excess liability.
• Proposals shall include company qualifications, experience, safety plan, equipment list, and proposed unit pricing schedule.
