Fort Riley Vertical Lift Machines

The U.S. Army is seeking a contractor to purchase and install 2 vertical lift modules at Fort Riley, Kansas. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to complete the project. The vertical lift modules must meet specific requirements, including ergonomic design, modular construction, and a 5-year warranty. The contractor will be responsible for demolishing and disposing of existing machines. The project duration is estimated to be 112-126 days. Key features of the vertical lift modules include automatic security doors, operator stations, and safety features such as vertical photo eyes and self-monitoring full height LVS light curtains. • The vertical lift modules must be equipped with a central extractor guidance system and a steel belted tooth drive system. • The modules must have a maximum unit capacity of 24,696 lbs and a maximum lifting speed of 157.50 ft/min. • The contractor must ensure that the equipment complies with DIN EN 15095 and has been tested and certified by TÜV. • The factory must be certified ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. • The contractor must provide a 24-hour turn-around time for service requests and ensure that installation and service are performed by factory-trained and authorized individuals.
