Description
The Gordon County School System is seeking a contractor to remove and replace existing light fixtures at Red Bud Elementary. The scope of work includes providing all equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals necessary for the project. The contractor must comply with all applicable codes and regulations. Key requirements include:
• Removing existing interior lighting fixtures and installing new LED lighting
• Meeting minimum specifications for LED fixtures, including DLC or DLC Premium Listed, minimum 130 Lumens per Watt, and shatter-resistant construction
• Providing a detailed outline for cost, service, and products to complete the project
• Ensuring all work is done in compliance with GCSS requirements, manufacturer specifications, and applicable local, state, and federal codes
• Providing a minimum one-year warranty on workmanship and applicable manufacturer warranties for fixtures and components
• Correcting any defective work at no cost to GCSS
The evaluation of proposals will be based on demonstrated qualifications and capabilities, responsiveness of the proposal, previous experience, and overall cost.
