IFB 021-2027 - HAZELWOOD CEMETERY NEW GROUNDS BUILDING (HENB)

The City of Springfield is seeking a contractor to demolish an existing cemetery office building and construct a new 2,572 SF facility with multiple optional alternates. The work includes complete site demolition, utility upgrades, landscaping, and interior finishes, with several add‑on options such as fencing replacement, lightweight concrete ceiling, metal canopies, roller shades, and an expanded building footprint. The project is located at the northwest corner of Hazelwood Cemetery, requiring coordination with city‑owned demolition and site improvements. • Demolition of existing building, slab, foundations, outbuilding, utilities, and paving. • Construction of new office building (2,572 SF base, up to 4,272 SF with Alternate 5) with wood framing, CMU walls, and conditioned bay. • Site improvements: new water, sanitary sewer, underground electrical, meter, fire hydrant, landscaping, signage, fencing, bollards, flagpole, wheel stops. • Five optional alternates covering fencing, ceiling system, entry canopies, window shades, and building expansion.
