The County of Queen Anne’s is seeking sealed bids for the construction of a Post‑Anoxic Reactor (PAR) tank and associated upgrades at the Sudlersville Wastewater Treatment Plant to improve nitrogen removal. The scope includes rehabilitation of the existing Biolac reactor (sludge removal, air diffuser replacement), replacement/enhancement of the chemical feed system, construction of a cast‑in‑place concrete PAR tank, and installation of related electrical and control systems. Bidders must provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100 % of the contract price and a 5 % bid security. The project is funded in part by the Maryland Bay Restoration Grant Fund and is subject to prevailing‑wage and minority‑/women‑business‑enterprise requirements.
