Description
The State of California’s Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified supplier to provide all roofing materials and related accessories for the complete roof replacement of two housing units (Unit 341 and Unit 342) at the California State Prison, Los Angeles County. The supplier will NOT perform installation; CDCR will install the roofing system. The scope includes PVC thermoplastic roofing membrane, sheet‑metal coping and flashings, rigid XPS insulation, vapor barriers, adhesives, sealants, and a 10‑year full‑system warranty, as well as technical assistance and on‑site training for CDCR staff. Bids must be submitted by the deadline, include all required attachments, and meet small‑business/DVBE preference criteria. A mandatory site walk‑through and gate‑clearance submission are required.
• Supply complete roofing system materials for ~33,756 sq ft (≈ 16,878 sf per roof) – PVC membrane, sheet‑metal, insulation, vapor barrier, adhesives, sealants, and accessories.
• Provide a non‑prorated 10‑year full‑system warranty and technical assistance (inspection, testing, training, certification).
• Comply with mandatory walk‑through on 08/27/2026, gate‑clearance by 08/13/2026, material‑list submission by 09/16/2026, and bid deadline on 09/23/2026.
• Must meet small‑business (5 % preference) and DVBE incentive requirements, submit all statutory declarations, and adhere to state procurement statutes.
