Demolition, Removal, and Remediation

The purpose of this solicitation is to provide support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Facilities Real Property Disposition program. The contractor will be responsible for demolition, removal, and remediation activities at a Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range (VOR) facility in the FAA's Eastern Service Area. The work will include preparing and submitting a draft and final Demolition, Removal, and Restoration work plan, conducting site-specific work, and restoring the site. • The contractor will be required to submit a draft work plan within 10 business days after attending a kickoff meeting with the Volpe Center representatives. • The work plan shall detail the technical approach and schedule for conducting all demolition, debris removal, disposal, and site restoration activities. • The contractor shall identify additional material sampling, including sampling methods, analysis, and quality control, as may be required for waste characterization. • The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining any required permits and attaching copies to the work plan as an appendix.
