Description
The State of Colorado, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs/Colorado Air National Guard is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the replacement of the roof on Building 706. The scope of services will include full Construction Contracting Services for the project specified during the process of construction and warranty period to the State as per the Advertisement for Bid. The project requires the removal of the existing river rock ballast, installation of new gypsum boards and a high density isocyanurate cover board, and the installation of new sheet metal copings, flashings, and counterflashings. The finished roof system must be covered by the stated manufacturer's 20 year leak free no-dollar-limit warranty for material and labor.
Some key points to consider are:
• The estimated project cost is $700,000.00.
• The project requires a bid bond and power of attorney or proposal guaranty in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid.
• The contractor must have demonstrated specific contracting experience in projects of similar scope and complexity for at least two projects each in excess of $1,000,000.00.
• The contractor must have demonstrated bonding capability up to $1,500,000.00 for an individual project coincidentally with current and anticipated workloads.
• A mandatory pre-bid conference and site tour will be held on June 2, 2026 at 10:00AM.
