Stationary Engineer Training Program

The County of San Mateo is seeking a qualified firm to deliver a specialized training curriculum for its new Stationary Engineer Training Program. The program aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to become proficient in operating, maintaining, and repairing various systems and equipment in County-operated buildings. The selected contractor will be responsible for delivering training sessions, evaluating individual participants, and providing regular progress updates and a final evaluation report. The training program will cover various topics, including industrial maintenance, safety, electrical fundamentals, and plumbing. The contractor must have at least two years of experience in providing training in the chosen courses and must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). • The training program will cover topics such as industrial maintenance, safety, electrical fundamentals, and plumbing. • The contractor must have experience working with culturally diverse groups and knowledge of audio/visual technology, including the Zoom platform. • The contractor must provide a detailed project approach, including a description of the services and activities to be provided, and a fee proposal. • The County will evaluate proposals based on factors such as project approach, firm qualifications, team qualifications, and fee proposal.
