Social Enterprise Employment and Training Program Services

The County of Los Angeles is seeking qualified Social Enterprise organizations to provide transitional or permanent employment and training services to a transitional workforce residing in Los Angeles County. The services will include employing, training, and developing skills for the County's target populations. The selected Proposers will enter into Master Agreements with the County, which will be used by all Los Angeles County Departments to issue Work Orders when services are needed. The Master Agreement will have a term of two years, with the option to extend for up to three additional one-year periods. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive minor irregularities. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing transitional or permanent employment and training services to targeted workers who face barriers to employment • Having experience in working with workforce and social service agencies to enhance services • Meeting the definition of a Social Enterprise, consistent with Chapter 2.205 of the Los Angeles County Code, and being certified by the Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA) as a Social Enterprise • Having at least one year of experience providing employment and training services to targeted workers • Having the ability to collect and report participant data that measures success within the social enterprise
