Welfare-to-Work Expanded Subsidized Employment Program - Ongoing Opportunity

The County of Solano is seeking statements of interest from qualified organizations to support the Expanded Subsidized Employment (ESE) Program. This program is designed to help CalWORKs clients gain paid work experience, enhance job skills, and transition into permanent, unsubsidized employment. The selected organization will provide job training, job coaching, and placement services, as well as develop work site agreements with employers. • The program aims to identify potential partners capable of providing job training, job coaching, and placement services. • The selected organization will be required to enter into a Worksite Agreement with the County that describes the participant's work assignment and outlines the responsibilities of both the employer and the County. • The organization will be responsible for providing comprehensive general liability insurance and complying with all California State Labor Laws. • The County will reimburse employers for a percentage of the participant’s earned wages during the subsidized employment period, with the reimbursement amount decreasing gradually over the subsidy period.
