As-Needed Temporary Personnel Services

The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors is seeking qualified and experienced temporary personnel services firms to provide temporary and as-needed administrative, accounting, secretarial, clerical, marketing, and information technology personnel services to supplement Department staff. The initial deadline for submitting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) is October 27, 2022. However, the County will continuously accept SOQs throughout the duration of the Master Agreement. Key requirements for vendors include a minimum of five years of experience providing temporary personnel services, the ability to provide temporary personnel in the areas of clerical, accounting, information technology, marketing, and personnel services, and a business office located in Los Angeles County. Some key aspects of the job and scope of work include: • Providing temporary personnel services on an as-needed basis • Assigning personnel to individual assignments totaling no more than 720 cumulative hours per assigned Work Order • Providing supplies, equipment, vehicles, and uniforms upon notification by the Department when applicable • Complying with the Indemnification provisions contained in the Master Agreement • Procuring, maintaining, and providing proof of insurance coverage for all programs of insurance specified in the Master Agreement
