Cold Patch Materials, UPM or Approved Equivalent

The City of Southfield is soliciting bids for the purchase of cold patch high performance asphalt product materials. The intent is to establish a one-year firm-fixed price contract, with deliveries on an as-needed basis throughout the term of the contract. The successful bidder must furnish an affidavit that the product meets the manufacturer specifications, and all other products must be approved by the City of Southfield prior to acceptance of contract. Key requirements include the patching mix not requiring the use of tack coat or primer for adherence, and the ability to be placed in ambient temperatures of minus 15 degrees F. • The material shall remain workable for a period of not less than 12 months from the date of delivery. • Repaired potholes shall not show any significant signs of shoving, rutting, tracking, kick-up or ravel-out within a period of 12 months from the time of repair. • The supplier shall guarantee the performance of the patching mix. • The accepted quantities of Cold Patch Hi-Performance Patching Material will be paid by the unit price bid per ton. • Pricing shall be F.O.B.
