Downtown Lawrenceville Streetscape Project

The City of Lawrenceville is soliciting competitive sealed bids from Contractors for the Downtown Lawrenceville Streetscape. The work to be performed includes night work, electrical pedestrian lighting, demolition and removal of existing pavement, mobilization, and more. The contractor must have the appropriate technical experience and working knowledge to perform the work, as well as the right equipment and personnel. The project must be completed within 30 consecutive calendar days. Some key features of the project include: • Night Work: Contractor shall perform all construction activities between the hours of 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM. • Electrical pedestrian lighting, including concrete lighting pole foundations, decorative street/parking lighting, wiring, conduits, pull boxes, electrical service components, and all associated electrical infrastructure. • Demolition and removal of existing pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveway apron, landscape features, striping, signage, utilities, and other improvements as required by the plans. • Mobilization: project management, traffic control, erosion and sedimentation control, and all associated temporary construction measures. The City of Lawrenceville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to make an award as deemed in its best interest.
