Description
The State University of New York at Stony Brook is soliciting qualifications from consultants to provide design and engineering services for the upgrade of the East Plant unit substation and associated electrical equipment. The existing low voltage switchgear is to be replaced, and the new switchgear will provide power to the heating systems as well as other loads. The project includes the installation of a new secondary unit-substation and the transfer of loads from the existing switchgear to the new one.
