Description
The Town of Boxborough is seeking a qualified contractor to provide and install new energy-efficient lighting fixtures at three municipal properties: Town Hall, the Department of Public Works, and the Sargent Memorial Library. The project aims to improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, and enhance lighting quality. The contractor will be responsible for supplying and installing new fixtures, removing and disposing of existing fixtures, and ensuring all work meets local building and electrical codes.
• The project includes three municipal properties: Town Hall, the Department of Public Works, and the Sargent Memorial Library.
• A comprehensive lighting audit was completed in June 2025 to identify existing conditions and recommend specific fixture replacements.
• Detailed spreadsheets for each property outlining the quantity, type, and location of new fixtures are provided as part of the Bid Document.
• The contractor must coordinate work with Town staff to minimize disruption of municipal operations.
• All work must be completed within the agreed-upon project timeline and budget.
