Description
The Department of Correction is seeking bids for the modernization of one passenger elevator at the MA Treatment Center. The project includes the installation of a new submersible hydraulic power unit, a new solid-state controller, and new landing doors and equipment. The contractor must be DCAMM certified in Elevators. The project is estimated to cost $189,000.00 and is expected to take approximately 10 weeks to complete.
• The elevator must meet current state and ANSI codes.
• The contractor must provide a 1-year warranty on materials and labor.
• The project includes related electrical, fire alarm, and HVAC work.
• The contractor must comply with all current ADA/ANSI 17.1/524 CMR Codes.
• The contractor must provide labor and materials for pre-test and state acceptance tests.
• The contractor must install new hall and cab fixtures, including LED bulbs and vandal-resistant buttons.
