RENOVATION OF THE FAIRMOUNT ARMORY BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION OF NEW PICKLEBALL COURTS

The City of Riverside is seeking a qualified entity or individual to provide Design-Build services for the adaptive re-use renovations of the Fairmount Park Armory Building and the installation of new pickleball courts. The selected Design-Build Entity will be required to provide an upgraded "shell" for the Armory Building that the lessee will finish and furnish for use as a restaurant and brewery. The Entity will also design and construct 15 new pickleball courts adjacent to the Armory Building. Key aspects of the project include: • Adaptive re-use renovations of the Fairmount Park Armory Building • Installation of 15 new pickleball courts • Upgrading the Armory Building to meet current codes and making it safe for the proposed re-use • Providing an upgraded "shell" for the Armory Building that the lessee will finish and furnish • Designing and constructing the pickleball courts • Compliance with the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act and other applicable rules and regulations
