SUNRISE ELEMENTARY LOW-SLOPE ROOF REPLACEMENT

The City of Charlottesville is seeking bids for the replacement of the low-slope roof system at Sunrise Elementary School. The project includes the removal and disposal of the existing roofing system and the installation of a new fully adhered 90-mil EPDM membrane roofing system. The contractor will be responsible for providing all supervision, coordination, project management, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the project. The project is expected to start on June 1, 2026, and be substantially completed by July 31, 2026, with final completion by August 31, 2026. • The project includes the removal and disposal of the existing low-slope roofing system, including EPDM membrane, flashings, insulation, and associated materials. • The installation of a new fully adhered 90-mil EPDM membrane roofing system, including insulation, cover board, flashings, edge metal, penetrations, and accessories. • The contractor must provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to complete the project. • The contractor must comply with all applicable codes, City standards, and the Contract Documents. • The contractor must provide a bid bond in an amount equal to 5% of the total monetary amount of the bid.
