CDBG-DR Implementation of Construction Services - Hurricane Milton

The County of Volusia is seeking a contractor to provide construction services for the repair and/or replacement of up to 300 homes damaged by Hurricane Milton. The contractor will be responsible for executing a complex recovery project funded by a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR). The project includes construction services such as labor, materials, and equipment. The contractor must have experience with CDBG-DR funds and must be able to provide efficient and successful service to the County. • The contractor must have a thorough understanding of the project scope and requirements. • The contractor must be able to provide a detailed project approach and cost proposal. • The contractor must have experience with similar projects and must be able to provide references. • The contractor must be able to provide personnel with the necessary qualifications and experience. • The contractor must be able to provide a firm price for the project and must be able to complete the project within the specified timeframe.
