The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Mental Health is seeking a qualified general contractor to demolish, remove, and replace the roofing system on the Sitterly Building in Greenfield, MA. The scope includes full roof deck removal, installation of new sheathing, waterproofing membrane, asphalt‑shingle roof, gutter system with guards, down‑spout protectors, roof‑vent kits, and all associated flashings and sealants, performed in compliance with SMACNA standards and Massachusetts construction regulations. The contract is a small‑project bid (estimated $100 k, under $150 k) with a 5 % bid deposit and 50 % payment bond required.
