Description
The 5th Maintenance Squadron at Minot Air Force Base is seeking a 1:8 scale model of a B-52 bomber for outdoor display. The model must be built to withstand extreme UV exposure and Minot's extreme winter weather. The contractor will be required to deliver the model to Minot AFB and provide detailed instructions on the proper assembly of the model and mount.
• The model is for display only and requires exterior details.
• The contractor is not required to install the model or be present during its installation.
• The quote must include a technical narrative, a portfolio of relevant experience, and a high-level project schedule.
• The government intends to make an award based on initial quotations, without conducting post-submittal inquiries.
