Description
The Jefferson County Department of Public Works is seeking a qualified consulting engineering firm to provide professional engineering services for the Bear Creek Road Safety Improvements project (approximately 1.13 miles, $2.5 M construction estimate). The scope includes preliminary and final design plans, right‑of‑way and easement plats, technical specifications, cost estimating, field surveys, archaeological/environmental studies, geotechnical investigations, and limited construction‑phase engineering (staking, pin setting, shop‑drawing review, RFI responses). Firms must submit a Letter of Interest (max 4 pages) and a Statement of Qualification, with five copies due by September 25, 2026. Evaluation will be based on experience, capacity, and past performance. No pre‑bid meeting or site visit is required.
