The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to fully demolish the former Ambassador building at 1616 West Crawford Street, including associated structures, utilities, and site cleanup. The scope encompasses demolition, swimming‑pool removal, utility abandonment, sewer sealing, site safety, and debris management, with strict requirements to preserve active utilities and maintain public sidewalks. • Complete demolition of the commercial building, garages, sheds, foundations, basements, and any related structures. • Remove swimming pools, cap fire‑suppression water line, and back‑fill excavations. • Verify, disconnect, and abandon water, gas, electric, and telephone services; seal storm and sanitary sewers within 5 ft of the property line; protect existing utilities and repair any damage. • Provide site safety measures (barricades, signage, signal lights) and limit debris shipments to a maximum of eight loads per day to the landfill.
