Description
The City of Rialto is seeking proposals for Bond Counsel Services to advise on municipal finance and provide legal guidance throughout the issuance process of bonds, notes, certificates of participation, or other debt instruments. The selected firm will work closely with the City's Finance Department, bond underwriting teams, and other parties to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws. The scope of services includes pre-issuance services, document preparation, legal opinions, post-issuance services, and coordination and communication with relevant parties.
• The City of Rialto has a population of 104,026 and operates as a general law city with a City Council-City Manager form of government.
• The City is seeking a firm with extensive experience in municipal finance to provide bond counsel services.
• The selected firm will be required to enter into a contractual agreement with the City of Rialto.
• The City reserves the right to reject all submitted proposals and cancel the RFP or reissue the RFP.
