The Old Guard Swords and Sabers

The US Army is seeking to procure ceremonial swords and sabers for the 3D US Infantry Regiment, known as "The Old Guard". The swords and sabers must adhere to historical and traditional standards, be authentic, durable, and crafted from high-quality materials. The contractor will be required to provide product samples, including test results covering the physical characteristics of each metal and plating. The award will be made using the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process. • The contract includes the procurement of NCO swords and officer sabers. • The contractor must deliver the products within 120 calendar days after the award of the contract. • The contract includes a base ordering period and four additional ordering periods. • The contractor must provide a product sample of one sword, scabbard, and cover, and one saber, scabbard, and cover, each conforming to the requirements of specification USAFA CU 945-05. • The contractor must include test results covering the physical characteristics of each metal and plating as specified in the specification.
