IFB - 260011618 - Domestic Electro Fusion Fittings

The City of Richmond, Virginia is seeking bids from qualified firms for furnishing and delivering domestic electro fusion fittings for the Richmond Gas Works natural gas distribution system. The fittings must be manufactured by one of the following manufacturers: MT Deason Tri-Fusion (ISCO), IPEX Friatec, Innogaz (Aliaxis), or GF Central Plastics. The City requires a variety of fittings, including couplings, reducers, and tapping tees, in different sizes. The fittings must be BABA compliant and meet certain specifications, including being produced from a resin with a PPI listing of PE100 3408 or 4710, and conforming to ASTM D2513. The City also requires that the fittings have polyethylene caps and be pressure-rated to a minimum of 125 psig.
