Wastewater Treatment Plant A – Basin A‑02 Sewer Rehabilitation (RCIP Project No. 10LDRC7711 – CP3520)

This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to rehabilitate Basin A‑02 of the City of Lake Charles Wastewater Treatment Plant A. The work includes the repair and replacement of approximately 22,000 LF of 6‑ to 15‑inch gravity sewer pipe, installation of new pipe using point‑repair, pipe‑bursting, and manhole lining techniques, and associated traffic control, bypass pumping, and pavement restoration. The contract is funded through CDBG‑DR and the Resilient Communities Infrastructure Program (RCIP). • 22,000 LF of aging gravity sewer pipe to be repaired or replaced (critical and priority 1). • Methods: point repairs, pipe bursting, CIPP lining, and new pipe installation (8‑, 10‑, 12‑, 15‑inch HDPE). • Required ancillary work: manhole replacement, temporary traffic control, bypass pumping, erosion control, and site restoration.
