Brooks Center Park Improvements Project CDBG

The City of Riviera Beach is seeking bids from qualified bidders to purchase and install STEM and technology-themed playground equipment at Brooks Center Park. The project should result in an all-inclusive playground that meets the challenges and abilities of children between the ages of two and twelve. The contractor shall furnish all appurtenances, labor, materials, equipment, personnel, tools, supervision, transportation, and other incidentals necessary to perform services requested. • The project is funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) via the US Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and administered by the Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development. • Federal requirements, including Section 3 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1968 and the Davis Bacon Act, are applicable to this solicitation and project. • The City of Riviera Beach encourages qualified Section 3 contractors and vendors to participate in the bidding of this project. • The contractor must comply with all federal requirements and provide proof of previous experience of a minimum of three projects of similar scope and scale. • The contractor must possess all required State, Federal, and Local licenses and certifications required to perform the services requested.
