Hastings Branch Meeting Room Expansion

The City of Pasadena Public Library is seeking a General Contractor for the proposed phased project that consists of interior alterations, including selective demolition to create a new interior opening and the construction of a new interior corridor. The project includes all work to be performed at the Hastings Branch Library, located at 3325 Orange Grove Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91107. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and related incidentals necessary to complete the construction in accordance with City-approved Construction Drawings, applicable State of California and City of Pasadena ordinances, codes, and regulations, and Project Specifications and drawings. Key features of the project include: • Interior alterations and selective demolition • Construction of a new interior corridor • Compliance with City-approved Construction Drawings and applicable ordinances, codes, and regulations • Furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and related incidentals • Performance of all work in a professional and workmanlike manner The successful bidder will be required to provide a bid bond, performance bond, and payment bond, and to comply with various City requirements, including prevailing wage laws, equal employment opportunity laws, and construction and demolition waste management ordinances.
