Description
The Alaska Energy Authority seeks a single‑bid, all‑or‑nothing contractor to fully renovate the existing Manokotak Power Plant. The scope includes building renovation, installation of owner‑furnished generators, switchgear, and associated mechanical and electrical systems, repair and expansion of a heat‑recovery system, and other community‑improvement work as shown on the drawings. Bidders must provide a 5 % bid bond, meet Build America‑Buy America, DBE, and Federal EEO requirements, and submit a complete Schedule of Values.
• Complete demolition, structural steel, and interior finish work (walls, insulation, fire‑suppression, etc.)
• Installation of three 350 kW diesel generators, charge‑air coolers, radiator fans, VFDs, and a master control panel
• Replacement/renovation of mechanical piping, fuel‑oil systems, and heat‑recovery equipment, plus associated electrical distribution and grounding
• Required compliance with BABA waivers, DBE participation, and detailed invoicing of material costs
