Description
The NC Department of Health and Human Services is seeking bids for the replacement and modification of the existing steam distribution systems at the Black Mountain Neuro Medical Treatment Center. The project includes primary steam piping, steam condensate return piping, condensate pump systems, and distribution accessories. The work will be done in phases to minimize impacts to critical facility operations.
• The project requires a single prime contract.
• Bidders must have proper licenses as required under state laws governing their respective trades.
• General contractors must have a license classification for General Contractor (Unlimited).
• A performance bond and a payment bond will be required for 100% of the contract price.
• Payment will be made based on 95% of monthly estimates and final payment made upon completion and acceptance of work.
