Specialized Training Services (Re-Bid)

The City of Chesapeake is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive training services, including first aid, adult/child CPR, AED, and choking. The training program should equip employees with critical skills to respond to emergencies effectively. The vendor must provide a blended learning environment, including online skills training and in-person hands-on training. The contract will be for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) period, with a two-year certification for participants preferred. Some key points to consider include: • The vendor must provide training to a variety of staff with different skill levels. • The vendor must offer a blended learning option, including online skill competency and hands-on training in person. • The vendor must provide at least one hands-on Adult CPR/First Aid class, Adult/Child CPR/First Aid class, and Adult/Child/Infant CPR/First Aid class as needed. • The vendor must offer train-the-trainer approaches as part of their catalog offerings. • The vendor must provide review type courses to highlight gaps in understanding and serve as refreshers for students. • The vendor must provide skills sessions, which should provide employees with the content they need to successfully complete and obtain an OSHA-compliant Red Cross certification.
