Braddock Middle School - HVAC Piping Replacement

The Board of Education of Allegany County is seeking bids for the HVAC Piping System Replacement at Braddock Middle School. The project involves replacing the existing HVAC piping system with a new one. The successful contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and complete the project by August 7, 2026. The project includes final clean-up of the premises and removal of the contractor's equipment and supplies. The contractor will be required to submit a Surety Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the total work and provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in accordance with the AIA Document A701-2018 Article 7. The contractor will also be required to pay liquidated damages of $300.00 for each calendar day of delay. • The project requires a mandatory pre-bid conference on November 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM local time at the site. • The project has a goal of awarding a minimum of 15% of the costs to minority business enterprises. • The Board of Education of Allegany County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
