The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to award a sole‑source contract to Merative US L.P. for a license to access the Private Marketscan Commercial Health Insurance Claims Database. The contractor will deliver a comprehensive, longitudinal claims data set (1998‑present) via a secure portal, including payment, cost‑sharing, utilization, demographic, and payer‑plan information, together with technical support, data dictionaries, quality notifications, and Section 508 accessibility compliance. The data will be used by CMS for analysis, policy development, and program evaluation.
